Course Description :
Besides introducing the postgraduate to the commonly seen oral lesions in the child patient and the appropriate management of these conditions, this course aims to apply the knowledge and techniques learned by the postgraduate in the previous courses by clinical application. The student will be required to attend 1 month clinical rotations in each of pediatric clinics with the goal to expose the student to the practice of pediatric medicine to gain knowledge and experience in the management of healthy and sick children, adolescents, and those with special health care needs and general anesthesia (including cardiac pulmonary resuscitation, CPR) and emergency departments.
